I always hate first entries on blogs! I never know how to start! Here goes….
For many years I have tried various diets with varying levels of success, you name it – I’ve tried it. One thing they all have in common is that I either get totally fed up of strict regimes and just have a massive “blow out” or I manage to lose weight only to put it all back on again – and usually a bit more! This is a common problem for dieters and I have heard this so many times, so at least I can take comfort in knowing it is not only me!
So I have decided categorically that diets don’t work! Well not for long term weight loss anyway! The only way I will lose the weight is to completely change my eating habits – easier said then done! I know what I need to do, but its getting the motivation and the mind set to do it!
I came across a self hypnosis CD package recently, and I thought “why not” I’ve tried every other weight loss method might as well try this!
I have been using the programme for a couple of weeks now and so far its really helping! I’ve started to view food differently making small changes to my eating pattern and so far managed to lose a few pounds! So far so good.
